Do you want your boyfriend to be with you forever but you are worried that one day he will eventually leave you? Then it’s important for you to understand the events that can truly occur and set the right course for your actions.
Many women are worried that one day their boyfriend will lose interest in them and leave them, usually for another woman. And they search for ways to make him love them and want to stay with them forever.
But is such an expectation even realistic? Let’s take a look into the psychology of human emotions and find out.
What we now know is that human beings are naturally programmed to need a high dose of variety and to seek and array of relationships. Like it or not, we fall in love with someone one day and fall out of love a few years later, we find a person exciting today and boring tomorrow.
This is simply human nature and there isn’t much that can be done about it. And it applies to love and sexuality as well. While there are elements of this complicated emotion called love that stay the same and last forever, many of them do involuntarily change over time.
Whoever said that love only last 3 years wasn’t kidding. So it is true that your boyfriend may one day lose interest in you in some ways and be drawn by other women. You may try to convince yourself that if you’re attractive enough, or exciting enough, or if you use some psychological tricks, this will not happen, but the truth is that it probably will.
Based on this, we can confidently assume that there is no way to guarantee that your boyfriend will never leave you. Emotions change, people change, and thus their decisions change as well and you can’t control other people’s decisions.
This being said, what can you do if you want your boyfriend to never leave you?
I think the best thing you can do is to let go of this expectation and embrace reality. You can come to terms with the fact that it’s possible that one day he will leave you, just as it is possible that one day you will leave him.
And you know what? It’s not that big of a deal. It’s not the end of the world, both of your lives will move one and you will find ways to be happy.
You see, the problem is not that your boyfriend may breakup with you one day, the problem is that you think this is a horrible thing and it must never happen. It’s not. This kind of a view is characteristic of women who have a poor self-image and they are emotionally addicted to a certain man.
And that is the real problem. So, if you this is your case, the best thing you can do is work on improving your self-image and break free emotionally. This is the real solution. You’ll be able to enjoy your relationship, and if one day it ends, you’ll get over it and move on with your life.
