The one new certainty you have in your life in these fast moving and evolving times; is CHANGE. Whether by choice or by circumstance, any change you experience thrusts you out of your comfort zone and into a world of the unknown. We must learn to accept and embrace change in our own lives and our environments. Learning to embrace change and especially the positive changes you know are necessary in your life right now, is one of the most valuable tools you have available, to help you find joy and harmony and success in your life. Change is most often mysterious and unpredictable, but often very necessary to allow you to grow and develop. All progress requires change, but not all the change you will introduce or experience in your life will result in the progress you desire.
It is during these times of constant change that your FEARS and self-doubts creep in and you become uncertain as to how you can keep moving forward. This is the time that you need courage and belief to carry you forward. Courage to take some tough decisions without a lot of facts and complete belief in your-self and your abilities to allow you to manage and overcome any challenges that will inevitably cross your path, as you evolve and change.
Maintain the belief in your own abilities, that you will cope with anything that may come your way and see all change as merely something that has come along, to help spur you along your path to success, allowing you to evolve and develop into a conscious and brilliant human being. This small shift will see you turn challenges and change, which would have previously caused you huge stress, into something positive and educational.
Managing change is difficult, moving through the transitions required and managing all of this with confidence and ease is fraught with potential pitfalls. You may feel unprepared and vulnerable. This is the time to take stock of all the skills, wisdom, abilities and resources at your disposal right now. The time you invest into this self-audit, will be well spent and equip you with the knowledge and tools, which you will need to prepare for and manage the inevitable change you will face in the future.
These are the resources:
• That will help you to adapt to and manage any change that will cross your path.
• That will allow you to identify all the options that you have going for you right now.
• Highlight all the possibilities available to you, to help you to anticipate and overcome any change or challenge.
This is the time to start harvesting and applying the wisdom and skills you already have, which will show you that you do have control and allow you to begin to calm your mind and help you to feel more grounded and certain.
Remain patient and force yourself to not expect instant gratification or to expect a quick fix. Although it is desirable to get the change and uncertainty behind you as quickly as possible, remain focused on applying the correct judgement call to the change; rather than a quick fix solution, which will merely make things worse. Managing and growing within change is never about beating the clock, it is about cultivating patience, learning, growing and forging a path towards new and greater success.
These rapidly changing times have highlighted the necessity for doing things differently and to commit to a lifetime of learning and growth. Flexibility and adaptability have never been more vital than they are now. Open your mind and allow yourself to not only expect change, but to plan for it and to where necessary, change the one thing you have control over, namely yourself. This shift will allow you to see new trends and changed circumstances far earlier, giving you a huge advantage going forward.
