Creating Abundance And Giving Back

In previous articles I have talked about balance, and the art of successful living. However to fully live a balanced, successful life there is one component that must be in place, and that is giving back, both to the world at large and to your local community. There are many ways to give, you can give time (volunteering), old household items that you no longer use, etc., but one of the very best ways to give and what is most needed by many non-profit organizations and charities is , you guessed it, money.

But how do you give when you are barely getting by yourself? When there is no “extra” to give? I agree, that is difficult, and if that is your situation, there is a solution. It just might mean that your money mindset needs an overhaul.

Believe it or not, there is an unlimited supply of everything you could ever desire, including money, just waiting to be claimed by those whose mindset is engaged in focusing on wealth.

There are many people who are walking around with what is called a poverty consciousness, meaning their focus is on lack, rather on abundance and wealth. In the last article I wrote I talked about the 7 principles of Huna and how they can be used to create your ideal life, and one of those principles was Makia-“Energy flows where attention goes” If your attention is on the lack of money in your life- guess what is going to show up? Exactly-more lack! However, if your attention is on abundance and prosperity and more money flowing into your life-guess what is going to show up? You bet- more money! What you focus on the majority of the time, you attract-period.

Th majority of people who become millionaires do so because they make up their mind to become wealthy- and continue to focus on that as their goal no matter what.

And here is the best part of all, when you are focused on abundance and more money starts to show up in your life, that means you have more money to give away to really help your community and agencies that need the funding to continue doing their good work in the world. And the best part of all of this? The more you give, the more you receive!

It is a universal law, called Tithing, that whatever you give must come back to you multiplied tenfold. That means if you give away $100, expect $1000 to come back. It may not come from the same source you gave it way to, or even in the form of money, but it will come back. For example, it may come in the form of a refund you did not expect, a big savings on that new car, getting paid back from a friend from an old debt you had forgotten about, you just never know where it will come from. But one thing is for certain, it will come. It is universal law, and it works everytime, just as the law of gravity works everytime.

I read an interview with actress Angelina Jolie recently, and she talked about how she takes movie roles now so she can make more money so she can give more of it away. This is how we should all be living our lives, doing what we love and making lots of money so we can give lots away and make even more so we can give even more away!

“Do What You Love and the Money Will Follow” is a book by Marsha Sinetar. When you are doing what you love (Huna principle #5 – Love is to be happy with) you become even more attractive to money-oftem because when you are happy and grateful- you tend to more naturally focus on what is right and good in your life, and so attract more of it!

Imaging living your life that way, loving what you do and believing in abundance, instead of being unhappy and living in fear that there is never enough. Doesn’t the first choice sound so much better? And the good news is that it is available for anyone.
