Dear Dr. Romance:
I'm in my first year of high school, but I have no experience in relationships. I'm in contact with a friend who is a year younger than me, and I recently realized I have feelings for her. She's funny and playful, and I just can't help myself. What's your advice on how I should tell her?
Dear Reader:
You don't need to worry about telling her you have feelings for her. Just invite her out to do something fun, to the next basketball game, to a dance, or to study together. She'll figure out for herself that you have feelings. Take it slowly, one step at a time, and you'll be fine. Read "Guidelines for Successful Dating" for more help. The Unofficial Guide To Dating Again will take you step-by-step through the process of dating, from getting yourself ready, to how to meet new people, to what to say and do on a date. It's designed to make dating fun, safe and successful.
