Dear Dr. Romance:

I am a young man whose life has fallen apart because of the girl I love so much. I slept with her but then she betrayed me by telling every body she saw and I felt so bad and walked away from her when she needed me the most. I could count all the tears that run out of her eyes but still could do nothing. Now she has found herself a new love when I also need her the most. When I call her and tell her I miss her she rejects me. Now I realize she is only woman I have ever truly loved with all my heart. I am afraid I might hurt her again just because I love her. I care for her so much. Please help me out I am dying here, and it’s all because of love. Help me get her back. Please give me tips on how to get her back I know I am willing and obedient and able wait only for her.

Dear Reader:

I'm afraid you blew this one. If she's already involved with someone else, you have to leave her alone. Learn from your mistakes, and work on being more emotionally mature. I can't help you get her back, but if you give her a lot of space (no calls, no texts, no IMing, no e-mails, no following her around or showing up at her house) she may have a chance to re-think things. In the meantime, get on with your life. "10 Reasons For Not Falling in Love" will help you understand why you walked away from your love, "Growing Up As An Adult" will help you become more emotionally mature, and "Couples Can Cooperate for Success" will give you a healthy model for your future relationship. It Ends With You: Grow Up and Out of Dysfunction has all the information you need to improve your life and relationships.
