Develop a Winning Personality

The world is made up of different individuals. No two people are exactly the same in any respect. This is the thing which makes life so wonderful and interesting. Your personality is the way that you think and act and it is unique to you. Experience plays a big part in personality development and no two people have the same experiences in life. Our personality is shaped by the things that we see and do from the time that we are born into this world. It is also shaped by the everyday encounters that we have in life. All of these things combine to give us a mental picture of the world around us. One of the reasons that people will react differently in different situations is that they have different life experiences. One person may have learned that he or she can get their way by being a bully, while another may be condescending. Each applies the techniques which they think will work best. I am also a firm believe that much or our personal makeup is genetically prearranged. I have seen children portray traits that a parent or relative portrayed long before they were born. Many times the child may have never seen the parent or relative. I have also seen brothers and other siblings behave in the same manner in similar circumstances which is quite remarkable. Whatever your personality you should be aware of your own personal characteristics and the effects that they have on other people. I know that I used to be the biggest complainer around. It had the effect of causing people to not want to be around me. When I realized this character flaw I began to work on it and have done much better since then. You should know your positive personality traits and improve on them also. If you have a trait which draws people to you, work on it and make it a greater asset. Strengthen those things which are weak at the same time. A good personality will take you places where money is no good. You have a talent which the world needs. There are things that you can do that no one else is capable of. You may not know what these talents are but you have them. Explore and experiment. Ask a friend to help you with their honest opinion. Humble yourself to listen to what that person has to say if you trust them and begin to work on whatever you need to work on. Develop yourself so that you will be a benefit to the entire world. You don’t have to try to emulate other people. If you use your talents to the fullest they will be tempted to emulate you. Be confident enough in your own abilities to be who you are. If you are different there is nothing wrong with that. Different is not necessarily bad. Whenever people are in a rut the reason is that they are not willing to change and do whatever it is that they need to do to get themselves out of it. We are all on a level playing field although many may not agree with me. Some for example would say that the rich kid who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth may have never had the hardships that you have. This is true but that rich kid has also missed out on the character development that you got from being in the hardship. You may have had a tough time in life but those tough times made you tough. You are better off because of what you have been through therefore you have an advantage over the rich kid. Learn to see the good in the bad. Always remember this. People who judge you on the basis of your outward appearance are not worth your friendship at all because they are looking for something about you that they will benefit from. People who truly love you will love the intangible things that you bring to the table. The Good Life
