Different Problems of the Learners in Speaking English Fluently

Speaking English effectively and fluently is a most significant skill that everyone should possess in the present competitive world. To remain successful in any filed English speaking is an inevitable aspect that one cannot escape. While speaking English with someone a learner may/will face different problems due to these he/she cannot become a fluent speaker of English. Hence, it should be kept in the mind by the learners that the following mentioned problems will frequently occur in the initial stages to the learners and so they must know how to overcome them in order to speak English confidently and effortlessly.
Some important problems of the learners in Speaking English:
1.Fear and Shyness: The first and foremost important problem or hurdle that a learner should overcome very urgently is – having fear towards English language. You should have enough confidence levels and positive outlook. Have faith in yourself and think carefully what you are going to speak. Remember one thing – by having fear you are going to achieve nothing and moreover your presentation and performance will be viewed as a poor one if you fear. Avoid shyness in you; try to grab and utilize every opportunity to speak in English. Once if you successfully overcome these twin problems you will be surely successful.
2.Don’t be too anxious and tensed: By being tensed and too anxious you will not achieve anything in your life or career. Just erase the feelings – anxiety and tension from your mind immediately and then only you will speak English naturally and effortlessly.
3.Think less about Criticism and Making Mistakes: If you think much about criticism and making mistakes while speaking in English your mind will not further proceed. Nothing may be happened if you are criticised and commented by others. Just ignore and do not bother much about making mistakes which are quite natural in the initial stages. Just go ahead by speaking in English as much as possible without caring comments and making mistakes.
4.Sometimes people may laugh at your dress appearance, pronunciation, body language etc. don’t take them into consideration and in course of time everything will be set right. Forget not the saying – “Failures are the stepping stones to success” and never lose confidence in your competencies.
5.Practice and do necessary rehearsals seriously so as to speak English correctly. The more and more times you practice and rehearse the more successful you will become.
6.One more important thing that a learner should keep in his/her mind is – he/she must not by heart and try to reproduce the same information or content before the audience. In case if some part of the information is forgotten by you, the entire presentation or performance will be collapsed. Try to speak naturally and spontaneously.
By overcoming these above said problems a learner can speak English fluently and effectively. The learner of English must work hard by sparing a lot of time and practising more and more in order to get the desirable benefits. I wish you all a good luck!
