What is EFT therapy? How can it help us in managing stress?
Almost every day we are accompanied with stress, from home to the office. We cannot resolve the everyday demand of life, demands like time for the family, career advancement, time freedom and many more. The things that give us a negative or bad feeling often contributes to stress and we know that by a fact, that stress can cause poor health or worse.
There are a number of symptoms and effects of stress that you can be read out there to know if you suffer from stress, but then again, it might also increase your stress.
If you have tried the different strategies in coping or managing stress but failed or you just simply want a new and very easy approach, then you can try EFT therapy.
EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. It is developed by Gary Craig. EFT therapy is a new method to get rid of negative emotions and some physical limitations. Overall it is used for self-improvement on many flaws or deficiencies.
You can try it literally on anything that you can think of and most of the time it is remarkably effective.
EFT therapy is done by tapping certain points in your body with your fingertips; these points are the acupuncture points used by the Chinese to balance your body. Together with the tapping you affirm yourself repeatedly. In the affirmation, you will speak your issue or problem, and then rate it from 1 to 10, with 10 being the worst.

EFT therapy is simply a procedure of tapping on certain parts in your body and affirming yourself. Even though a very simple method, it is highly effective, and it has changed the lives of many, including myself. I no longer have food allergy which I carried for a number of years, and I also helped my children overcome their allergies.
Some general issues that EFT therapy can eliminate, or lessen, are:
Anxiety
Phobiasr
Post traumatic stress disorderr
Depressionr
Body painr
Addictions
There are a lot of testimonials, and some clinical studies of how EFT helped people improve their performance. In a study done by Dr. Church, a group of athletes were tested and found that there was a decrease in cortisol level after an hour of EFT therapy. However, it is important to keep in mind that this method is for alte
ative use only and never be a substitute for medicine and other medical practices.
Aside from being easy to use, EFT has no damaging side effects. The noticeable effect would be a feeling of thirst. EFT is considered very powerful but practiced only by a few.
Note: Consult your doctor before removing or changing medications for severe ailments. The question you should ask your doctor is: Will this condition get worse if I undergo acupuncture? If the answer is no, go ahead and tap!
EFT therapy is still considered new, and some may doubt it. The fact still remains that many experienced miraculous results because of EFT, and others continually use and share them.
