Excuses, Excuses!

We looooove excuses, but they hold us back.
"No, I DON'T love excuses," you say? Think about the last time you said, "I can't". It's not fair to yourself to say those words until you've actually committed to making something happen.
Once you have committed to moving forward, the rules of play can feel intense, but they can also feel like flying, if you let yourself try. Here are the rules:
(1) Find something you are absolutely committed to seeing through, even (especially!) if you don't know if you will be successful!
(2) Try something - anything - to make this goal come through.
(3) If this something doesn't work, try something else.
(4) You are not allowed to declare all doors closed to you until you have tried every one that you can find, think of, or have an inspiration about. (However, the one caveat to this rule is that if in the process of trying all of the doors, you have come to an honest feeling that what you initially wished to do is no longer what you truly want to do, you can stop. But you can't stop because you think you "can't" go on.)
You'll be amazed at what "I can", or even more powerfully "I WILL" will create in your experience. I have a great story about that - it's about getting my father out of a nursing home and onto a plane, complete with catheter and other care-taking paraphe
alia. But I'll save that for next time.
Pick something you feel passionately about and go out and amaze yourself! No excuses!

How To Identify Opportunities Everwhere
A friend of mine recently mentioned that a relative of his grew up in the gemstone rich Chiadzwa area in Zimbabwe's Manicaland province.
