Spring has finally arrived and now is a great time to attack the interior of your home with a good spring clean up.
Yes, I used the word attack, because that is exactly how I want you to approach and conquer clutter.
I would like you to start with the BASEMENT of your home. Over the winter (and years) we tend to mindlessly bring things down to our basement and it becomes a storage nightmare. In Feng Shui , the basement of a home represents our grounding in the world.
Next, go up to the attic. This is also a forgotten area. The attic represents our higher mind or spiritual self. If you feel that you may not part with as many items as you should, then enlist a friend who will really help you sort through and get rid of your clutter. It is imperative to clean up and clear all clutter is that you are actually blocking your progress by keeping unwanted, unused items in your life.
Here are a few sources to help you eliminate unwanted items:n#www.craigslist.org Use this site if you want to list anything that you think is valuable. You can sell or state you are giving it away for free.
www.freecycle.org A grassroots organization that lets anybody give your unwanted items away for free in your own town.
