Learning to cope with Fibromyalgia is a tough task in itself. I have learned that having co-conditions to Fibromyalgia is even harder. Over the years I have developed several co-conditions to Fibromyalgia which have hindered not just my own life but the lives of my family and all who are around me.
One of the hardest things I have done is explain to my children mom can't participate because she doesn't feel well. The sad affects that Fibromyalgia has on Diabetes type 2 or 1 and vis versa is disturbing. They go hand in hand and while we are trying to get our Diabetes sugar levels down to ease the Fibromyalgia the pain we are enduring from them being high are the same things that are keeping them up.
Diabetes and Fibromyalgia must be treated at the same time to avoid prolonged affects they have on each other. Learning to keep your sugar levels down with stress reduction, diet and exercise will also help your Fibromyalgia.
A few co-conditions of Fibromyalgia are:
Diabetes type 2
High Blood Pressure
High Cholesterol
IBS or (irritable bowel Syndrome)
Frequent headaches or migraines
GERD
Learning what the warning signs of these conditions are and how to prevent them may help you avoid getting them. If you already have them learning how to keep them under control will help you avoid future pain.
