So many thoughts, opinions, and ideas go through your mind every day that it may make it difficult for your own voice to be heard. You may feel like you are in a fight with the exte
al world to get your voice to stand out in a crowd. Some times you always feel the need to defend your voice so people can understand you better. You may find that some of your values, and beliefs you grew up with are not who you are today. Some were from time past, but you have blossomed, grown up if you will, and no longer see the world in your family’s perspective. You still understand you family’s beliefs system and you respect their values and are even thankful for the structure they have provided you. However, there is a time in everyone’s life to find their own voice and get it out in the world, and that time is now!
My story is one of struggle just like everyone else and sometimes it still is. I am blessed, and found my voice through writing. No, I am not a poet, but I am an inspirational writer who’s passion is to empower myself as well as others using God’s word. When I write I am able to share from my experiences, emotions, struggles as well as successes. I am able to share how God has blessed me and was able to set me free so I am able to live an authentic life with my own voice.
I refuse to be anyone else! I don’t have to sing, dance, or dress like anyone else. I will live the authentic life God has given me, I shall speak with my own authentic voice, and I will write with my own authentic words. I will use my own voice to live the life God has planned for me.
There is so much freedom when you realize that God has given you your own voice and you can live with passion and desire to please him the way he created you. I dare you to challenge yourself to awaken the voice that God has put inside of you. Dare to live the life you dream by tapping into the strength of that voice. Don’t continue to stand by the side line wishing you were in the race of life. Develop your relationship with God and let him help you find your voice!
