"Fast, hurry, quickly, immediately” are all words that can appear extremely attractive and luring when they spring by our ears regarding weight loss. If you’ve got a horrible toothache then these words are extremely welcoming for immediate aid, if you break down on the side of the road then they too would be fabulous music to your ears. However, if you are attempting to lose weight and increase your health and well-being then high-speed is not a very viable option.
Unfortunately, through no fault of our own we are bombarded by television shows, unrealistic magazine headlines and hasty promises that boast preposterous offerings such as “hurry-up and lose 10 pounds without doing anything” or “all it takes is five minutes a day to achieve your dream body in five short days; completely unrealistic and a total set-up for failure and disappointment.
A calmer approach to living your life requires that you make the effort, give it due diligence and put forth your best shot each day. Life is not a pursuit, your health and fitness goals will not come to fruition ove
ight, over weeks or even over months and years. This way of living is for the rest of your life to make it real, to continue to reap the benefits and be the best woman you can be. Find the courage on the job at hand and live your greatest life! Why not try to initiate a patient track by doing the following:
~Acknowledge your accomplishments.
~Document your achievements so you may review your fantastic acts of self-love.
~Forgive yourself when you have made a move that doesn’t make you happy.
~Make the conscious choice to allow yourself to endure the journey.
~Take it one day at a time and focus your energy on the “here and now.”
~Hold yourself accountable and ward off feelings of hastiness.
~Cultivate your “patience” by setting aside personal time for yourself.
~Call your confidence to duty everyday!
I’m sure you’re familiar with the sayings “good things come to those who wait” or how about “patience is a virtue” not to mention “life is a journey not a race.” All of those statements completely and utterly apply to your hunt for better health, wellness and balance. You just can’t rush the art of modifying your life to one that meets your expectations. As you approach your goals it requires you to alter behaviors that are not beneficial in regard to your dreams for self and you have to alter what you do each and every day to begin to modify your way of living and how you approach your creation of a more fulfilling life.
