Great Hope Offered by Adult Stem Cell Injection clinics

In recent times, there have been many news stories about patients visiting clinics for stem cell injection therapy. These clinics are located in various parts of the world, but the main interest has been on the results these so called 'experimental' treatments have been getting.

Not to be confused with embryonic stem cells (ESC) taken from embryos, the adult stem cells used in the clinics are collected from the patients bone marrow over a period of weeks. Stored in a controlled environment until a large enough number have been collected, they are then re-injected into the patient at the target areas.

Many of these clinics have had excellent results with a whole myriad of conditions including Multiple Sclerosis (MS), heart disease, spinal conditions, even cancers. It seems about the only drawback is the cost : upwards of $15,000 for each injection of between 1-5 million stem cells and the time: treatment takes between 6-8 weeks .

Either way you look at it, these results offer great hope for many sufferers of these conditions, but the high prices and time consuming treatments keep it out of reach for many. This has led to some cases of patients taking risks with their health at clinics not adhering to stringent professional conditions and procedures.

What isn't so wide spread just yet is the alte
ative. A recent peer-reviewed clinical study has proven that a patented concentrate of AFA (aphanizomenon flos-aquae) extract showed an increase of 25% in the number of circulating stem cells after 1 hour.

For the average person, this equates to around 3-4 million cells -- well and truly comparable with an injection -- but safely, naturally and without the need to travel anywhere, spend thousands of dollars or take several months off.
