Have you ever noticed just how easy it can be to find yourself focusing on what you haven't yet accomplished?

Do you know what I mean?

You're lying in bed at night thinking about your to-do list and saying to yourself, "OH, I didn't get this done, and I didn't get that done either."

Then to make matters worse, you pile on the pessimism and self-criticism with thoughts like, "Who am I kidding? I'm never going to catch up on this stuff. I'm just no good at being organized and efficient."

In fact, if you're really "good" at this kind of thinking you might even throw in "I'm such a loser" or some other non-helpful negative over-generalization.

Well, in case you can't see the obvious, this approach does NOT help in ANY way!

In fact, it actually programs your subconscious mind to continue to create the very experiences you want to AVOID!

Your subconscious mind persistently works to make what you focus on your reality.

If your attention is always on what you don't have, haven't accomplished, or did wrong, then unfortunately that's what you're going to experience more of!

I suggest you start noticing what you're focusing on, and begin taking a VERY DIFFERENT approach with your thinking.

Instead, start creating this new habit. At the end of each day, acknowledge the things you that you did RIGHT, and actually COMPLETED. Make them the focus of your attention.

I think you'll find that over time not only will your motivation soar from acknowledging your successes, as opposed to looking at your failures, but you'll also complete a lot more of the things you want to accomplish.
