There are lots of misconception about exercise but physical exercise is not only good for your health it’s also good for your brain.

Exercise changes the structure and function of brain. Exercise improves blood flow to the brain and feeding the brain with new blood vessels. You can get additional brain boots though exercise. Exercise has positive effects on brain function. It improves heart rate which pumps more oxygen to the brain.

Many studies to show that exercise cycling to walking can relieve symptoms of depression and make people feel better. “We always give priority to our physical strength and benefits and somewhere we ignore our psychological and emotional strengths”, says Odeta Stuikys Rose- A fitness advisor.

Study shows exercise also revs up blood flow to skin, deliver nutrients and oxygen to the skin that improve your skin health. One minute exercise has same effect on skin and heart but for it you will have to push yourself to walk as fast as you can. 30 minutes slow walk and 10-15 minutes fast walk give the same benefits to you. “There is some exercise where you can see comparable results.”- said Odeta Rose. Exercise helps you to recover from major illness and the other hand people with certain disease are advised not to exercise. Some doctors suggest exercise to their patient and it works amazingly. Our body uses both carbohydrates and fats to make energy. Exercise makes your cardiovascular system stronger which good at delivering oxygen thus our body metabolize more fat as an energy.

  • Generally, anything that is good for your heart is best for your brain and body.
  • Aerobic exercise is good for body because it improves brain function and also acts as first aid kit for damaged brain cells.
  • Exercise before leaving for work removes mental stress on your work place.
  • If you are mentally exhausted do rebooting with few jumping jacks.
  • Exercise improves mood and sleep both.
  • Exercise increase memory and thinking process in direct and indirect both.
  • Dancing, climbing, floor mopping tennis, squash also comes in exercise.
  • Commit to establishing exercise as a habit on daily basis.

I have always said that things happen for a reason and, if I wasn't completely convinced of it before, I am now. My move to Overlook Farm began as a chance to get away from my life and volunteer with an organization that I truly believe in. Over the past 2 months, however, it has come to be much more than that. The farm has taught me so much about animals, gardening, where our food comes from, and how it's processed. It also taught me a lot about social relationships.
