When I first signed up for the Amazon.com
Bestseller Campaign course, I created a list ofnaffirmations for myself. I knew that this coursenwould take months of dedication and hours ofnconcentrated work. Many people said that it wasnvery difficult to reach the #1 position, and thatneven so, why spend so much money on a coursenthat would probably only lead to a few hundrednsales, at best? But I kept affirming to myself,
"I am a #1 Amazon.com bestselling author!"

So, I kept on collecting bonus gifts, andnreaching out to JV partners... month after month, npersonalizing each and every note, keeping inntouch with everyone regularly to make sure that Inestablished a good relationship with them, andnhopefully ensure that they would come throughnwith their promise of mailing for me on that dayn- as the secret to an Amazon.com bestselle
campaign is to get a bunch of people to buy you
book on a certain day, by offering them annincentive such as free bonus gifts.

Finally, the big day came ... and the serve
crashed! I had 101 partners mailing out to thei
lists, over a million eyeballs - and the linkndidn't work! I was devistated! But due to thendedication and help of a team of amazingntechnical support people, I was able to move thencampaign over to another server, and by 2:30pm ETnthe campaign was back up and running. I keptnsaying my affirmations.

I reached #15 that day, in the Family
Relationships category. It was a slightndisappointment, because the folks teaching thenclass almost guaranteed a top 10 spot. I chalkednit up to the server crash. But I kept affirming.

The next month, I heard back from Dr. Laura thatnshe had chose the Daughter-in-Law Rules tonfeature on her show as book of the week! I wasnoverwhelmed when the book catapulted up to #5!

But I had my goals - I know I’m stubborn, but Instill believed that I could make it to the #1nspot! So I kept saying my affirmations, over andnover: "I am a #1 Amazon.com bestselling author!"

I was poking around Amazon one day, and realizednthat there was a catagory under Home and Garden, ncalled Wedding Showers. I checked it out and itnseemed as if the competition wasn't as steepnthere, and even more appropriate for my book!
So I wrote to Amazon, and had The DIL Rulesnswitched from Family Relationships to Wedding
Showers.

I kept writing to bloggers, asking them if theynwould be so kind to post about the DIL Rules. Inkept the affirmation going.

This Monday, November 3rd, the DIL Rules hit #1nin Wedding Showers on Amazon.com! I did a littlenvictory dance all day long! This was a year-longnprocess, and although I could have given up ornquit, I kept on affirming.

NEVER give up on your dreams! Keepnsaying those affirmations and YOU WILL SUCCEED!
