You’ll often see articles on the web, tips on Twitter and YouTube videos telling you how to set up your feng shui in your home or your office. This advice ranges from how to de-clutter to where to set up the Love & Romance area in your home to attract a partner.
What you won’t find is feng shui information that’s specific to you. General feng shui is great for creating overall balance and harmony in the space around you. You may even find that some really wonderful things happen shortly after you set up your general feng shui. But after a while this energy will settle down and create a peaceful environment. When this happens most people think their feng shui has stopped working even though it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.
If you really want to focus in on a particular area of your life you need to set up your personal feng shui because it’s like pushing the button on a vending machine to select exactly what you want.
So what is your personal feng shui? You have four feng shui directions that support your Success, Health, Relationships and Wisdom and these four directions are based on your birthday. That means that your personal feng shui directions are unique to you and will work better for you than general feng shui when you want to attract a new job, more romance, better health or even the ability to learn more easily in school.
You also happen to have four feng shui directions that prevent you from getting what you want in life. These are your Frustration, Theft, Disease and Total Loss directions. When you use these directions to try to make things happen it’s not only a real struggle for you but your odds of succeeding are pretty low.
Let me share a story with you that explains exactly what I mean. Carol, a woman I met in Califo
ia, told me about a feng shui consultation she had to attract more business. The feng shui consultant told Carol to turn her desk to face North (the direction for Career in general feng shui) to bring in more business and to put her client files in the Fame area (South) so that her clients would refer her to other people. In general this is good advice.
The problem is that the Career area in general feng shui is Carol’s Theft direction and the Fame area, which is South, is Carol’s Frustration direction. Initially Carol said that her business did increase but she found that she was having a hard time getting these clients to pay her. It’s no wonder because she was facing her Theft direction when she was at her desk which was ideal for attracting financial loss.
On top of that the people she was attracting were very demanding which was leaving her feeling stressed out. This is because her client files sitting in the South area of her office were in her Frustration direction so she was attracting clients that were drawn to this energy.
Do you see how this works? Carol didn’t want this but her feng shui said she did and it worked perfectly.
Your personal feng shui is just about the easiest and most powerful type of feng shui you can use in your home and office so there’s no reason for you to go through the same thing Carol did. You can set up your four best directions and avoid the other four with my book 4 Easy Ways to Ignite Your Love Life & Fatten Your Wallet available on Amazon.com.
