***How To Change Your World

One of the most potentially empowering and life changing lessons we learn in the Release Technique is to take responsibility for everything we experience. The lesson is "potentially" empowering and life changing because, we have to do it--- we have to take responsibility--- before it will work.
As with all of the tools we get in the Release Technique, they are ready to create miracles in our lives if we do it, if we use the tools. Someone once said,"There is nothing to it but to do it." Lester Levenson said, "Keep it simple sweetheart."
We might be asking, what's so empowering and life changing about taking responsibility for what happens in our lives? Here it is: Once we see, once we really see for ourselves, prove to ourselves, that we have created our experience, we can then change our experience to be whatever we would like it to be. Once we see we did it, we can change it.
John Milton put it this way,"The mind is its own place. And, of itself can make a hell of heaven or a heaven of hell." And so it is. Our life is what we decide it to be. Life is a decision. Most of the world does not like to hear this. Most of the world thinks their experiences “happen” to them, that suddenly and mysteriously, forces work together and make their life what it is: lucky, unlucky, fortunate, unfortunate, healthy, sick, happy or miserable. Most of the world, most of the people in the world, are victims or, to say it correctly, they see themselves as victims. They create themselves victims. It happened to me, they did it to me, it did it to me and there is nothing I can do about it. Victimhood is about making a hell of heaven.
In the Release Technique we see, I did it, I can change it. Releasing is about turning any situation into heaven. To say it correctly, releasing is about realizing heaven is here right now. Releasing is about clearing the blocks and seeing that we are right now and have always been in the heaven we long for, mistakenly thinking we are not.
Taking responsibility is about looking at whatever we do not like in our lives and saying, wherein did I cause this situation? We begin to track back until we find the thoughts and feelings which brought us to the place where we now find ourselves. In Releasing, we learn to root out these thoughts and feelings so they no longer run our life. We learn to see what we are doing to ourselves and we make a decision to not be run by those thoughts and feelings anymore.
In the Release Technique, we learn, in order to have something different, we must do something different. We see we did it, we know we can change it. We use our Release tools, we drop the negative thoughts and feelings and everything changes.
It all begins by taking responsibility for what we have created. It is just a decision and it is up to no one but our very own self. Once we take responsibility we can change our life. We are the determiners of our life. Decide in favor of heaven, in favor of happiness. It is just a decision. Decide to let go and find out.

***Avoid = Avoiding
Think about an Attachment and we may experience a nice warm-fuzzy feeling. We are of course attached to our family, our homes, our relationships, money, our beautiful stuff, and so forth. Think about an Aversion and what happens – instantly we are facing some resistance. If you are paying attention you’ll instantly notice a clutch indicating that there is something needing our attention. Larry Crane and the staff refer to “the clutch” as a pocket of negativity, ringing like a doorbell to get our attention.

Pretty certain, most folks would love to feel good at all times, although many may think it’s not possible to always feel good. Ok, what’s right about feeling good? Feeling good encompasses many things… Perhaps it is working on an incredible project – getting involved – being inspired. Maybe it is a sound, like the evening rain gently caressing the window while you are sleeping. Maybe feeling good is being at your ideal weight or having a certain amount of money. And maybe, feeling good is the way life is meant to be at all times.

Anger Can Be Positive
Although uncontrolled anger can be quite costly, when channeled properly anger can also be very positive. Among other things, anger can motivate us to work harder to accomplish our goals. This could mean playing harder on the defensive end in a basketball game, studying longer for an exam, or putting in more time when learning to play an instrument. Anger can sometimes lead to newer, higher level goals, possibly fueled by the desire to prove others wrong.
