Silver has a nasty tendency to get dark, almost black with time. This is a natural process, due to oxidation. As natural as it is, it does not look good. Here I will give you one way to remove the blackened layer without any effort from your side. It's been tested and it works.
For those of you who watch Breaking Bad, this will be close to your heart. The series describe the uses of chemistry 1.0 to the masses, giving people creative uses for simple household tools and items, to solve otherwise difficult cases. I saw this on YouTube – how can you clean silver. I have a few silver coins and my girlfriend has silver jewellery. I wondered some time about how to clean this up and she was always complaining about how she needs to scrub it all the time.
Then I saw the video. A guy used a very simple solution to deal with the black scale which covered his trophy cup. I have tried it afterwards myself, and I can tell you for sure - this works ! Here are the things that you will need :
1.You need one half full bucket of hot, boiling water.
2.You will need approximately half a box of baking soda.
3.You need one or two sheets of aluminium foil.
4.A pair of rubber gloves.
Put the foil into the water. You may twist it a little, so it takes a round-like shape. This way it will be able to surround the item or items that you are going to put inside. Cleaners Peckham then tell that you should sprinkle approximately half a box of baking soda inside. Mix it up, but care not to tear the foil. Then, all you have to do is to submerge the items, a silver trophy in the video and coins in mine case, into the water, letting them to lie over the foil. Within 30 seconds, turn the items to the opposite side. The effect is stunning.
I have never imagined, that this can be so easy. The silver shines after this procedure. There is hardly any residue left behind. The baking soda and hot water work as a catalyst between the silver and aluminium. I don;t know the exact chemical reaction there, but the effect is amazing. The coins were clean within less than a minute, and I didn't even need to lift a finger.
Peckham cleaners leave a few tips to this. First the water needs to be very hot. As hot as you can get it. Next, the silver items need to be in actual contact with the aluminium. This will speed up the process and you can clean the items within seconds.

The Hard Truth About Soft-Skills
There are 350,000 opinions (books) on “leadership” on Amazon. Corporate America can’t seem to draw a consensus on what leadership is so it’s really no big surprise that Corporate America can’t figure out what soft-skills are and why they are important either. You know, for being such a dominating force in the world of business, we really don’t have a clue about the stuff that REALLY makes business run.
