How to Date your Husband Part 1: Romance in 10 Minutes or Less
Written by Aesha Adams-Roberts
Many married couples complain that they don’t have time to go out on a date. I want to help you put the fire back in your marriage in 10 minutes or less. It's so simple it will work even if you haven’t been on a date in a decade!
Yesterday on Facebook, I asked the question: “Do you think flirting is good or bad? Why?” We have a lot of married men and women in our Facebook community and they often help the singles know what to expect in marriage. But I have to admit, I was surprised that the first responses to the question on flirting came from married people, and the majority came from married men.
Here’s what they had to say:
(Married Man #1) Bad. It's a dangerous game to play when there are no intentions of finishing the job. It may be a nice little self esteem booster for someone, but you never know who you're teasing and how far they are ready to take things --- even against your will. Just my $0.02
(Married Woman #1 ) Flirting with your mate or just random people? I think I was thinking the same as Married Man#1! :) But I think I should be flirting with my man.. others are!
(Married Man #2 ): Flirting is fine with boundaries! If you flirt, that keeps you on your toes with what to and not to say to the opposite sex. The only time it gets outta hand when the person that's getting flirted with doesn't know how to accept it or not used to getting it when you have someone at home that don't do it. So... It's not a bad thing unless the person is ugly! LOL!
(Married Woman #1) I'm just being honest. A ring on the finger don't stop many folks. I think it's ok up to a certain point...per Married Man #1 somebody’s gonna want action to those words and "friendly" touches. Flirting needs some limits.. ego boosting is ok to your gal or man. . .
What surprised me most as I read these posts was the idea that married women should be flirting with their husband or else someone else will. Everyone seemed to agree that flirting boosts the ego of the man or woman.
So, let me ask you a question, ladies (and I know you married men reading this are so glad that I’m asking this): Do you flirt with your husband? Do you bat your eyes, swing your hips, giggle at his jokes, draw him in with your eyes, or kiss and hug him? He wants your attention and wants you to remember how amazing he is! Take a moment and send him a text message that says: “I was just thinking of you. Can’t wait to get my hands on you when you get home.” Or, take the advice of one of the married men in our Facebook community: put a risqué photo in your husband’s phone or portfolio he takes to work!
Flirting is the perfect way to date your husband. You may even remember why you fell in love with him in the first place. So tell me, what are some ways YOU flirt with your husband? Leave your comments below!

Dr. Venus Nicolino: You Have To Make Yourself Available To Find Good Relationships
The idea of making yourself more desirable by making yourself less available doesn't make a lot of sense when you think about it. After all, Juliet would have plunged a premature dagger into the heart of her romance with Romeo if she hid in her room rather than go out on her balcony. The end of Sleepless in Seattle shifts from "awww" to "aw, no" if one of the two main characters skips the trip to the Empire State Building. As these examples from fiction show, making yourself
