Bad moods happen when you don’t like something or someone. You don’t like it. That’s negative and the negative energy is in you. Your mind goes to work adding up all the reasons why you shouldn’t like it. Each new reason is another not liking. Each not liking adds up and the bad mood gets worse, and gloomier, and bluer. Lint collects lint and negative feelings collect more negative feelings.
Complaining is a popular form of not liking. You hurt yourself when you complain. You complain about the smallest thing and you’ve turned in the direction of negativity, you’ve turned negative. Your mind goes about collecting all the reasons you should complain about the person or thing, adding more and more negative. You have gone negative. You get in the complaining habit, the complaining mindset. It’s a negative habit, a negative mindset. It’s a habit that takes you down. Negative takes you down. Positive takes you up.
When you’re negative you don’t feel right, you don’t feel good. Many people have been so negative for so long they don’t even know they feel bad. If you asked them, are you happy? They would quickly tell you, oh no, and start listing all the reasons.
Happy is the feeling that all is right with the world. Unhappy is the feeling all is wrong with the world.
Living a life in negativity is living a life in dis-ease.
What don’t you like? What do you like to complain about? What’s wrong in your life, in the world? All that is negative and that negative is in you. It’s making you unhappy, miserable, suffering and sick.
Do you like to complain about some body ache or pain? Most do. It’s negative to complain about it. It’s also negative to go negative on a negative thing. So, you have a body complaint, big or little. If your body isn’t working like it should that’s negative. An ache or pain is a pocket of negative energy. You don’t like it. You’re adding negativity to the negative thing when you don’t like it. You have to ask, how does that help me? I know your mind is saying, what am I supposed to do, like it? Yes, you’re supposed to like it. Actually it’s better to fully love it. Your mind doesn’t like that idea. Of course not. Your mind is all about negativity, being negative. You mind does not like the idea of being positive, being loving.
When you don’t like the ache or pain, you’re negative about some negativity in your body, you’re pouring negativity on a negative thing. You are pouring negative fuel on the negative fire. You have to ask yourself, how does that help me? How does that help resolve the body issue? Of course, it does not. It just adds to the pocket of negativity. You’re collecting negativity. How’s your body problem going to improve that way?
The answer is to stop. The answer is to end the habit of going negative. You can’t like, or love your body pain, your psychological pain, whatever pain, if you’re negative about it. The first thing to do is make a decision. End the negative. Make a decision. Let go of all those negative feelings. Since it’s a habit, it takes diligence and determination. It’s a habit you’ve practiced for a real long time. Your mind will lead you back to the negative, complaining, criticizing, going negative. Your mind will have you doing it before you know it. That’s why you have to stay awake to what’s going on and stop it. As soon as your mind starts up, stop it. End it. Don’t go along with that mind.
It’s easy to see it happening. Most of the time the negative will be coming out of your mouth. At first, you’ll notice, even though you see those words coming out of your mouth, you’ll really want to keep jabbering away with the negative. It will feel comfortable to keep going down the negative road. That’s good! You’re seeing what you’ve been doing all your life. You’re seeing what’s in your subconscious mind blocking your from being the happy, successful, abundant, healthy person that you naturally are hidden behind all that negativity.
It’s a decision. Once you see yourself going negative, talking negative, thinking negative, maybe even acting negative, you have a decision to make. I’m going to end this right now because I see it doesn’t help me. You’ve collected negative a long time so it’s important not to go negative on all the negativity you start seeing inside yourself. When you see negative, drop it, end it. You’ll notice you have collected negative people around you. Of course, lint collects lint. They’re showing you what you have inside of you. As you start letting go of the negative and you start getting more and more positive, you’ll notice those around you are getting more and more positive too.
Negativity causes you all your troubles and problems. You have a negative outlook, therefore lint is going to collect lint. A negative outlook causes you to see, to experience more negative. Negative collects negative.
The important thing about this information is to know what to do about it. You begin to see, yes, there might be something to this. Yes, I see how maybe I am the cause of my troubles. Yes, I see that I have been negative and the negative has brought me nothing but more negative in my life. You begin to see that. But, what do you do about it?

***Avoid = Avoiding
Think about an Attachment and we may experience a nice warm-fuzzy feeling. We are of course attached to our family, our homes, our relationships, money, our beautiful stuff, and so forth. Think about an Aversion and what happens – instantly we are facing some resistance. If you are paying attention you’ll instantly notice a clutch indicating that there is something needing our attention. Larry Crane and the staff refer to “the clutch” as a pocket of negativity, ringing like a doorbell to get our attention.

Anger Can Be Positive
Although uncontrolled anger can be quite costly, when channeled properly anger can also be very positive. Among other things, anger can motivate us to work harder to accomplish our goals. This could mean playing harder on the defensive end in a basketball game, studying longer for an exam, or putting in more time when learning to play an instrument. Anger can sometimes lead to newer, higher level goals, possibly fueled by the desire to prove others wrong.
