How To Make Selling (and life!) Easier

How you BE in your business can make a big difference to how fulfilled you are in your business, and how many clients you get.
I urge you to ask these questions – because they get you to consider human behavior andalignment – stuff you have to work with because trying to change them is an uphill battle you can’t win:
What/Who do your ideal clients want their [coach/mentor consultant/etc.] to BE?
What personality trait, value or approach inspire and motivate them so they take action and get results?
Who/How do you want to BE in your business?
Is that in alignment with the person your ideal clients want you to BE?
If the answer to those two questions are different, then you may have to rethink if the “niche” you picked is indeed the right niche for you.
It’s much easier to BE who you are in your business, and speak to those who resonate with you and can be inspired by the way you roll, than to change who you are to cater to a (somewhat randomly defined) set of people.
Selling (and life!) is so much easier if your value and outlook resonates with those you sell to.You don’t have to pretend to be someone else to fit the description of the person some market segment wants you to be.
When you nail that good fit between who you are and what inspires & motivates your peeps, you set a solid foundation to build that audience - the right audience for YOU.

The Hard Truth About Soft-Skills
There are 350,000 opinions (books) on “leadership” on Amazon. Corporate America can’t seem to draw a consensus on what leadership is so it’s really no big surprise that Corporate America can’t figure out what soft-skills are and why they are important either.
