Are you and your boyfriend having problems? Perhaps, you both are on a trial break. Either way, you've scoured the internet for advice. The things is there is no method that guarantees a happy relationship. Every relationship is different. Not only are their situation different but also the people involved differ. However, as humans, our needs are all very similar. According to Maslow's hierarchy of needs, each of us follow the same pattern.

What we have in common with our partner is the basic essentials of how to survive life on this earth.
1.Physiological: the basic needs a person requires to stay alive like food, water, sleep, shelter and air.
2.Safety: making sure that you are out of harm's way.
3.Love and belonging: being part of a relationship, family or friends.
4.Esteem: The need for respect.
5.Self-actualization: the need to be the best we can be.
This is something that differs from person to person.

These needs are the driving factor in most of our decisions, like entering relationships.

First off, when was the last time you and your partner decide to cook together? Cooking is actually a great ice breaker. Set the table, enjoy the food and talk about what happened that day. Another great method to fix a relationship is by keeping your partner away from harm. Try doing something that would involve repairing the house.
You can also try checking their car to make sure that everything is in order. Start reminding them about how much you care and that you don't want them to get hurt. Loving someone is easy but not really very simple to show. One way to fix a relationship is to let your partner go out with their old friends from time to time. This is very important as your partner needs to feel the support of other people especially if your relationship is on the rocks. As for intimacy, when was the last time the two of you just held each other?

To fix a relationship, you should make a point of telling your partner about how proud you are of them and their achievements. Wanting the best for them as well as showing them respect is also a very important part of the relationship. Let them know that you respect and value them as a human being as well as being your partner.
When it comes to self-actualization, most people believe that we achieve our best when we have people who supports us and brings the best out of us. You can fix the relationship right now by providing your partner encouragement when they do something they love. For example, you can buy your partner painting materials if they have always loved to paint. This would encourage them to start painting often.

If you want to mend your relationship, you need to use a different strategy when it comes to saving your relationship because the one you're using now, isn't getting you the results you want.
