There is a great divide between the dreamers of the world and the do’ers.
Those that merely dream about their dream, and those that actually live it.
For most of my life I was just a dreamer - praying, wishing and hoping for a life that felt miles and miles away. It wasn’t until I turned my “wishing” into “expecting” that I finally began to create the life I only used to dream about.
Part of my mission in creating Making Mountains Move is to help every dreamer on planet Earth become a do’er and create their TRUE heart’s desires.
“There is a difference betwee
WISHING for a thing and being READY to receive it. No one is ready for a thing, until he believes he can acquire it. The state of mind must be BELIEF, not mere hope or wish.” – Napoleon Hill
One of the first things I did to create a state of BELIEF, and start moving in the direction of my dream, was to change my “inner dialog” and stop telling myself, “Wouldn’t it be nice IF… (fill in desire here)… And I started telling myself, “Won’t it be nice WHEN… (fill in same desire here).
This slight change in thinking had a profound effect on my life, and was the key turning point in going from a dreamer into a do’er.
One train of thought (wouldn’t it be nice if) keeps you stuck in state of longing, wishing and hoping for a thing, while the other (won’t it be nice when) creates a state of certainty and true belief.
And it is belief that allows us to receive our deepest desires.
Hill goes on to say, “Remember, no more effort is required to aim high in life, to demand abundance and prosperity, than is required to accept misery and poverty.”
Often times the biggest obstacle between ourselves and our dreams is ourselves. We create the mountains!
We argue for our limitations.
We focus on why things can’t be done.
We hope for the best, and EXPECT the worst!
And we wonder why the things we want never show up?
You don’t need to expend any more energy than you’re currently using to accept a life of prosperity and abundance. The key is to redirect your energy by focusing on belief and expectation.
And today’s Mountain Moving Lesson to help you move from being a dreamer into a do’er is stop saying, “Wouldn’t it be nice if…”
And start saying, “WON’T IT BE NICE WHEN!”
