Just got my copy of the new Disney movie Tangled. It was really a cute take on the Rapunzel story. There is a part in the movie that really touched me. After all of her life Rapunzel is finally getting the opportunity to have the thing that she had dreamt of for so long and she says
I have been waiting so long for this, what if it's not anything like I imagined? What if it is?
How often have you become nervous thinking about the future, and think what if? What if things just don't turn out the way that I want them to? What if, what if...... You cannot allow yourself to get paralyzed by fear of things not turning out the way that you want them to because, it could be better! A few years ago I got the opportunity to meet Dolly Parton and while I was standing in line I suddenly thought what if she is nothing like I always thought she could or should be? There is just no way to know what the future will hold and how things will turn out, but I do know that if you do nothing, nothing will happen. Do not allow fear, pain and regret to tie your life up into knots. Live, enjoy life and most importantly do not get tangled up in if things will be what you expect them to be. Just remember that you may not be able to control anything else, but you can control how you look at the world around you. Fabulously yours,
