Many people underestimate knowledge and some will even pretend that they know everything. Some people will go to limits where they do not seek to learn anymore and instead they will stay where they stop learning and go far into their belief that they know about everything.
But before you jumping into conclusions of your own knowledge, you should know that all it is that you know about is so little compared to a library, and while you might have read a lot and studied a lot, there is still more to learn, not only on paper, but in life experience in general and in every subject because the amount of knowledge one can obtain is so little compared to the knowledge about a specific topic and all that surrounds it and every way around it.

"True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing." – Socratesr
As it was said in the ancient times, true knowledge comes from the knowledge that you know nothing and in order to be more powerful you must gain more knowledge to enhance your abilities and be prepared because in everything in life you will need knowledge and knowledge does not come for free.
But knowledge is not always what you learn at school or from books. Sometimes knowledge is obtained from the experiences that you go through. Sometimes you will go through dark hours that you will regret living just to gain knowledge.

With knowledge, you will achieve your dreams and get the career you have always wanted, keep your family secure and keep your close friends happy with what you give them. Knowing what someone likes is a part of knowledge as it is always expanding, on every level and in each situation. If you know more than your opponent in any sport, then the odds will be in your favor and your experience will be a great factor.
This is the same with every aspect in life. The more knowledge you have, the more your chances will be in anything, whether it's getting a job, or finishing a task, or talking to someone or getting with the lady that you like.
The solution to every problem is: understanding the whole situation and understanding comes through knowledge, but knowledge itself comes from everything around you, whether it's the book you are reading, the documentary you are watching or this very article you are reading.
But while you might not the information you need from one thing, you will certainly be getting information and keeping it inside of your mind and when the right moment comes, you will be using the knowledge that you have obtained through your life to fix a situation or talk someone out of a decision.

It's the first thing you crave as a child as we all have had curiosity that led us into places where we were not permitted just to understand what is being hidden from us. It is what mankind has always been seeking from the dawn of time. Do not fear asking, but do not pretend to know about things you hardly know anything about.
Always seek knowledge. It is power.
