Life Success Strategies - The Value of Vision - What is Your Life Vision?
Written by Ken Donaldson
"Give us clear vision that we may know where to stand and what to stand for - because unless we stand for something we shall fall for anything." ~ Peter Marshall
Vision gives your life a target. That target represents everything you want to do, be, and have in your life. In other words, it's everything that's possible. When you live according to what's possible, you'll achieve your highest greatness, be prosperous beyond your wildest dreams and you'll also have the highest possible positive impact on humankind.
You need to have a really HUGE vision.
The vision process can, however, be a bit tricky and vulnerable to self-sabotage: For one, the inner critic (that little gremlin in your head who tries to persuade to believe you're being unrealistic or undeserving whenever you entertain something new and different) may try to convince you that you just can't do these things, or that you're not deserving of all this greatness.
Realize this is just old programming and conditioning combined with some limited "left-brain" thinking.
The left hemisphere of your brain is the logical, linear and rational part. Because its job is only to "reason," it often mistakes challenges for seemingly impossible tasks and goals. The left brain is very useful and you couldn't do without it, but it has many limits, and it'll try to place limits on you. Your right hemisphere - yes, your "right brain" (what a great pun!) - however, is where your imagination and creativity lie.
The left-brain may be great for thinking rationally, but it can also block your vision. The key is to use your right brain to do your vision work and let your left-brain (and the pesky inner critic) take a break during this process.
Trust and rely on your imagination and creativity to take you to your true greatness.

Dr. Venus Nicolino: You Have To Make Yourself Available To Find Good Relationships
The idea of making yourself more desirable by making yourself less available doesn't make a lot of sense when you think about it. After all, Juliet would have plunged a premature dagger into the heart of her romance with Romeo if she hid in her room rather than go out on her balcony. The end of Sleepless in Seattle shifts from "awww" to "aw, no" if one of the two main characters skips the trip to the Empire State Building. As these examples from fiction show, making yourself
