The highly touted benefits of liquid vitamins are a most recent advancement in the world of nutritional science. The World Wide Web now boasts a plethora of information regarding liquid nutrition. Within the last decade, a multitude of nutritional companies have switched from producing vitamin pills and capsules to their own new formulas of liquid vitamin supplements. Why the liquid vitamin frenzy? Is there any merit to liquid supplemental nutrition verses the standard vitamin pill or capsule with which the majority of us grew up and are familiar with? The answer, we think, is yes.

Those who manufacture liquid vitamins are relentless in their claims that liquid vitamins are much more absorbable than vitamin pills or capsules. Some claim up to 98% more absorption than their pill form cousins. We find this to be valid. Our own experience has shown that after taking quality liquid nutritional supplements, those who have reaped minimal to no benefits swallowing vitamin pills over the years, all of a sudden report positive changes to energy levels, sleep patterns, and bowel movements. With continued positive reports after a switch to liquid vitamins, it really does not take a rocket scientist to arrive at the conclusion that taking vitamins in liquid form may consistently provide a greater positive impact.

The fact that liquid vitamins are free of the binders necessary to make capsules is a huge and valid health advantage. To produce a vitamin capsule, a manufacturer must rely on hard and sticky (if you will) materials to hold the capsule together. In many cases, a large amount of this material must be used in order to press together the active agents, vitamins, minerals, trace minerals, etc., into a capsule. This, of course, reduces the volume available for the active agents. One ends up swallowing a capsule that is a made up of a large majority of binding material. If the binding material used is of a cheaper grade, the body will and does have a harder time digesting and using the product. When using liquid vitamins, these conce
s are gone.

Thousands of people simply cannot swallow pills or capsules, nor can they tolerate the aftertaste that often occurs with some of these. In many cases, just trying to swallow a capsule can result in red teary eyes, uncontrollable gagging, and sometimes a feeling of choking. There are also many who complain of an unpleasant after taste associated with vitamin capsules. On top of that, people often report that they have a “burping up” unpleasant feeling and taste after taking certain capsules. With liquid vitamins, the majority of these issues are non-existent, as they are generally regarded as palatable and easy to swallow in their liquid form., and generally regarded as palatable.

As a health conscious consumer, it pays to get your money’s worth. While liquid vitamins tend to cost more across the board, the old saying “you get what you pay for”, certainly rings true in this case. We believe this statement to be valid regarding vitamin supplementation as well. There are quit a few excellent liquid vitamin products out there.
As a health conscious and wise consumer, make the best choice that seems sensible to you. Have you had your liquid vitamins today?

We are adapted to survive mild exposures to radiation. After all, the sun is a kind of controlled nuclear bomb and it releases a lot of radiation. Of course, this radiation, and man-made radiation, can also cause cancer and a host of short- and long-term health problems.

"Raw Foods" is a popular phrase these days that is often misunderstood, yet represents a powerful, grass roots health movement. Some people shun the idea, not knowing what it means. Others embrace the idea, not knowing what it means. And that's no wonder, since there are many different interpretations of what it means to be on a raw food diet. Personally, I advocate a plant-based raw food diet. In other words, I suggest eating green leafy vegetables, sea vegetables, other vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouted seeds, and fruit.
