Some of the important skills you need to possess as a network marketer include presentation skills, speaking skills and a good emotional quotient. Most MLM companies provide their distributors with training but do feel free to attend other courses apart from those provided by your company as well. This next point applies when you are talking to your leads. One mistake that many distributors tend to make is they focus too much on product features. That is a bad approach, especially when you are marketing to people who probably do not care about the product.

However, would you be more open to hear from someone who knows his stuff and is able to answer even the most difficult questions posed at him? Be sure to study the industry that the product is in so that you are ready and well-equipped to answer people's questions.
