I'm sure that at this point, you've read many articles about getting over a relationship breakup. But this article will give you a Different approach to letting go and moving on.
Here are 5 easy steps to moving on without a whole lot of fuss and drama . . . Without making declarations and demands . . . and Without ignoring and avoiding. This is about letting go a different way.
YOUR FIRST STEP: Reflect on what hasn't worked for you.
Reflect on what did not feel good.
Reflect on what you do not want to experience again.
YOUR SECOND STEP: Embrace your experience as part of your past - as a valuable lesson learned about yourself.
YOUR THIRD STEP: Now it's time to release that person . . . that love and that relationship. Let it go and let it drop to the ground, float up to the sky or get blown away by the wind (please visualize this).
No need to hold on to any of that. You can let it all go now. You’ve got a new way to move forward. You know what feels good. You know what you want. And you’re looking forward to it all.
YOUR FOURTH STEP: Take a moment to look in the mirror and smile. Give yourself a beautiful loving smile. Take another moment and do a small simple thing to pamper yourself just a bit. Nothing fancy or expensive, just soothing. Next, plan to do something that you enjoy and that makes you feel wonderful in the next ten days.
YOUR FIFTH STEP: Write out a short baby step plan to achieve one thing that you desire. Keep this written plan with you (either on paper or digitally). Look at it daily as you consider and work towards each baby step (also so that when you feel the past creeping up again, you can look at your plan to remind yourself that you've moved on with your life).
Repeat these five steps often, and most importantly, please keep moving forward.
