The bewitching evening hours have a tendency for some Lovely Ladies to be the opportune time to give in to all their shortcomings. It is as though under the cover of darkness their aspirations and goals seem to be eluded and they are given a free pass to delve into their pleasures. It doesn’t have to be this way; there are ways of recreating your evening hours to promote success in the self-control and composure department.

If eating after dark is an issue in your household it is going to take some time to divert your known habits and create some new tactics for dealing with this troubled time. Let’s probe a little deeper today into reasons why the evening time seems to create such disarray for many Lovely Ladies and set up some guidelines and strategies into our dealings with this haunting time of the day.

~Be sure to consume enough food throughout your daytime hours so that you are not left in a position of hunger later in the day creating feelings of deprivation. ~Brush and floss your teeth after dinner with the full understanding that if you participate in any food or beverage consumption before bedtime you must do it all over again. ~Write in your journal while you are lounging around. Make note of your desire to squelch your nighttime eating habit and how you will go about doing it. ~If you find yourself in the position of being bored and are looking for something to occupy your time why not read a book, start a new project or clean out your pocketbook? ~Beware of the after dinner drink as this habit can create the roller coaster ride of snacks and before you know it you’ve ingested 500 calories or more in moments flat. ~Go to bed early. Sleep is a wonderful element on your road to success.

As with all elements of this coaching program it requires that you take 100% responsibility for yourself, you initiate the change and yes you, put into action the steps that will behoove your goals. Saying you want x, y and z is one thing, actually walking the walk is another. Make this happen; relinquish the excuses and feel like a million bucks in the morning after an evening of control, focus and movements in the right directions. Who holds the key to your success? You do!
