Sensible Planning; fall is just around the corner and possibly your schedule is about to begin to rock and roll with the sights and sounds of school buses, falling leaves and the back to school hustle and bustle. Taking the time to create your cooler weather schedule, thinking about what’s important and how it will all coordinate into your agenda should be of the utmost importance.
As we travel down our pathway filled with all the wonderful attributes that make up a superb health and wellness plan, it should come along with a levelheaded approach to the way in which we organize our time, the amount of activities we engage in and how we allocate our moments throughout our day. It is up to you to make the choices as to what events eat up your time as you begin to take on fall responsibilities. Extra commitments travel in the form of added work responsibilities, extracurricular school activities, volunteering, parties, occasions, sporting events and whatever else comes along requiring your precious time.
Stepping up to the plate and making the choices that support you and your life goals is an imperative key to your continued success and well-being. Taking the time to truly view, decide upon and initiate all your added activities and responsibilities is imperative for you to be able to successfully juggle your needs and the needs of others. With a little prior planning on your end you can create a schedule that is conducive to a healthy, fulfilling way of life.
~Gather all your commitments prior to accepting one of them. ~Ponder each one: how much time it requires, if it’s your cup of tea, do you like it? ~Draw up a weekly calendar and plot out your schedule. ~Look for ways to lessen your load. ~Plug in your exercisern~Agree to participate in things that you love, enjoy and look forward to. ~Do not cave to pressure filled situations and requests for your time and/or presence. ~Remember that you can say “no” and life will go on, it’s ok.
It’s up to you and only you to make a difference in your life. Stand tall, be strong and persevere!
