Overcoming Negative Self-Talk

One of the most common ruts people get into is labeling themselves according to their current problems or situations. Common “label talk” often goes like this: nn~I want to be in a happy relationship, but I’m not attractive. n~I want to own my own home, but I’m terrible with finances. n~I want to be healthy and energetic, but I’m lazy. n~I want to go back to school, but I’m stupid. n~I want to start a business, but I’m afraid it will fail.
It’s difficult to follow your dreams and goals when you’re beating yourself up over and over again! With every dream and wish and goal comes an even stronger reason not to succeed.
These labels of being poor or lazy or a loser, or whatever negative self-talk you engage in are not who you are; they’re symptoms of childhood programming, stress, and being unfulfilled.
You may currently find yourself struggling every day of your life or perhaps you’ve given up and accepted the way things are. It doesn’t have to be that way. Problems are simply a way to get our attention. They’re red flags our subconscious sends to let us know it’s time for a change. Your mind will not give up either! You will struggle and struggle, sigh and fight, and fall on your butt over and over again until you finally get the hint and do something different. The more your life isn’t working, the more you need to change it!
Whenever patterns keep popping up, take notice of them because they’re trying to tell you something. You need to change something about your thoughts and actions if you want to overcome them. Like the saying goes, "Keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll keep getting what you’ve got!"
Don’t look at your money, weight, or love problems as bad luck or something that can’t be overcome, look at it as your very wise self letting you know something isn’t working in your life. Be grateful that you aren’t content and have the urge to better yourself. If you aren’t satisfied with your life as it is, use your dissatisfaction as a springboard to a better future!

7 Benefits of Eating Raw Foods
"Raw Foods" is a popular phrase these days that is often misunderstood, yet represents a powerful, grass roots health movement. Some people shun the idea, not knowing what it means. Others embrace the idea, not knowing what it means. And that's no wonder, since there are many different interpretations of what it means to be on a raw food diet. Personally, I advocate a plant-based raw food diet. In other words, I suggest eating green leafy vegetables, sea vegetables, other vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouted seeds, and fruit.
