They say that patience is a virtue, a desirable quality, a good feature and it is certainly a mainstay when traveling on your weight loss journey toward a healthier, lighter you. Taking advantage of this feature and using it to your advantage is a very important element for your continued success and ability to stay on the straight and narrow.
In our fast paced way of living patience seems to be an outcast, the black sheep, the word that creates feelings of distress and annoyance robbing us of our ability to live in the moment and create a world in which serenity surrounds our way life. Possessing the quality of patience is a tremendous key to losing weight. You are fully aware that there is no secret pill and you cannot just snap your fingers and all will unveil. However, welcoming and fostering the ability to endure and the fortitude to persevere can be developed. Why not put into regular practice a few simple steps to create success and forbearance:
~Give yourself credit when you make a healthy choice in your day. This will be an avenue for personal, positive feedback and create an outlook of optimism and strength to pursue. ~Review your desires for a lighter life every morning. ~Take a look at your vision board. Soak in the powerful sights. ~Acknowledge your accomplishment; journal your wonderful attempts at bettering your life. ~Be kind to yourself. ~Learn to love yourself and everything about your make-up. ~Dress for success. Taking pride in your appearance creates feelings of victory. ~Seek balance and avoid fixations in any area of your life. Strive for equal harmony throughout. ~Allow time each day to breathe, sit quietly and ponder your progress.
There is no room at the inn for rushing, hurrying certainly doesn’t behoove your expectations, and running to the end of your rainbow only sets you up for disappointment and feelings of inadequacy accomplishment. To be the best woman you can be, to make yourself proud of every step you take on your path to a wonderful life, it is imperative that today and everyday forth you nurture the fortitude to pursue your dreams. You deserve to live the life you dream of and you are equipped to do just that. Accept nothing less from yourself than the power to be calm, the control to hold your ground and the might to follow through on a daily basis.
