As you awaken to yet another day in your fabulous life, each and every time you are lucky enough to open your eyes from your nightly sleeping pattern requires that you prepare yourself for your next adventure. You are creating change in your life and it takes hard work and dedication to work toward your goals. There is no “easy” button to push and these aspirations of yours require constant renewal, continued review and consistent force from your side of the fence to make them happen and create the life you so desire.
Expecting things to just transpire because you said so doesn’t happen; although wouldn’t life be pretty simple if all we had to do was utter our desire and hey presto, our dreams came true? It takes you being on task, you following through and you taking action in the direction of your objectives. So what is your vision for yourself? Does it encompass the next twenty four hours? Can you reach further and see two weeks down the line? Maybe you can even connect with a couple of months or so ahead of today. Where you find yourself isn’t important, however, what you do with it and how it inspires you, is.
Take some time today to participate in this self-discovery activity. Find some time in your day or evening to be alone with no distractions. Position yourself in front of a full length mirror.
- Stand in front of the mirror and look at yourself from head to toe. This is not a timed activity, so take as long as you need. Mother time has forwarded herself six months into the future, what do you see? How do you look?
- How do you feel when you see your reflection farther down the road?
- What are your hopes, dreams and desires for this impending time in your life?
- What steps are you going to put into place to make this vision come to fruition?
Are you taking the necessary acts to initiate alterations in your life that support your goals? Only you can change your life and you must be the one to move in that direction!
