Setting Goals – Programs your Mind
Legacy signals

Now is the time to create a positive mind-set, where you orient yourself to constantly be on the lookout for fortuitous situations or circumstances. It is extremely difficult to identify opportunities, when you are not looking for them and impossible, if you do not believe in yourself, your abilities and the potential any opportunity offers.
Everything starts out as only a Dreamr
Anything outstanding that has ever been achieved started out as only a dream, an idea in someone’s mind. You too can create wonders with your dreams and hopes, if you commit to nourish them, by investing in your personal growth. You protect them by creating a set of realistic goals for yourself and your business and you commit to nurse these goals to fruition, by building meaningful action lists, which are consistently acted upon daily.
Goals make everything possibler
Work to convert your vision and mission into easy to understand goals. They must be written down, clear, time defined, easy to comprehend and you must accept 100 % responsibility for achieving them. The way to make this process really work requires you to explore the big picture and for you create a set of goals which will stretch you to achieve them. I am not talking about realistic goals here. I am referring to goals that scare you a little, goals that will force you to think differently and require you to grow to achieve them. The goals I am referring to here are worthwhile big goals, which make you sit up and take notice.
It takes as much energy to set a large goal, which will stretch you, as it does to set a very small goal, which does not challenge you at all. When you set worthwhile goals they should feel a little daunting and require a stretch to achieve them. An effectively set goal is one that clearly states the goal in a positive sense, why it is important that you achieve it and includes a plan on how you intend to achieve it.
10 X or Big Hairy Audacious Goals Inspire your
Small Realistic goals are not inspiring and don’t get you out of bed in the morning.
10 X or Big hairy audacious goals, on the other hand, wake you up every day and get your juices of inspiration flowing. Realistic goals keep you trapped in average, doing what you have always done, 10 X or big hairy audacious goals on the other hand stretch you and force you to sit up and be creative. They force you to transform the way you think and drive you to act differently.
If you want things in your world to change you need to stop doing things the way you have until now and you need to make a few crucial positive behavioural shifts, to support you to take the inspired action you need to take daily. Dare to scare yourself a little this time around and stretch yourself outside of your comfort zone. It is astounding what you can achieve, when you are inspired, passionate and driven to stretch yourself.
An Example of a Big Hairy Audacious or 10 X Goal, is listed below:
It is the 31 December 2017 and I am enjoying the financial security offered by the $ 100 million dollars I hold in stocks, bonds, rental property and other fixed assets. I am earning $ 1 millio
US Dollars a month, which allows me to give freely to inspiration. I personally finance the education and personal growth of 1000 deserving young individuals, helping them to grow and achieve their potential.
Please note that I have stated my goal in the present tense, as though I have already achieved it. This promotes a state of positive expectancy and structural tension between my current reality and future possibility. I have also created a clear picture of how much I will have accrued, how it will be structured and by when I will have achieved the goal. Remember the more clarity you have, the easier it will be to consistently take and measure your daily actions. I have also stated a purpose or reason bigger than myself, namely to give to inspiration, which really inspires me, by educating 1000 people and helping them to achieve their best.
I have found that when I set goals with a real positive, authentic intent to serve a cause bigger than my own, it not only seems to inspire me far more, but it also makes me more driven and passionate to take the goal specific actio
I need to take daily, to succeed. Focusing on a cause bigger than me also has the benefit of equipping me to better manage and mitigate any of the inevitable challenges, which will cross my path. Try to include a cause bigger than yourself, when setting your goals. There are so many benefits that flow from this; I do not have enough space to describe them all here.
