There is perhaps no other food capable of transforming your entire life by the simple addition of just one to a couple tablespoons a day into your daily routine.
To ensure your success and to make this extremely easy to do I would also like to give 4 of my personal and favourite recipes. Each is very different and incredibly delicious, so you can be assured to enjoy the amazing health benefits by adding in just this one incredible Super Food.
Hi my name is Malcolm Saunders and welcome to the latest newsletter coming from The Superfood Family of www.superfoodfamily.com
Together, with my partner Laura and daughter Onawa, it is our mission to revolutionize the way people eat and think about food.
We are passionate about food, especially super foods.
Super foods are not your ordinary foods, they have extra-ordinary properties and can contain high amounts of amino acids, vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and phyto-nutrients.
All of which give you more health, energy, light and vibrance.
In this issue of our free monthly newsletter we are going to highlight one of our favourite super foods, Spirulina.
You will learn: nnØ The unique and extraordinary properties that make Spirulina a Super Food.nØ The amazing health benefits you can receive by simply “adding-in” this ONE food.nØ Four recipes that are very easy to make, taste amazing and are guaranteed to get you super-charged and feeling good all day and possibly forever.
Did you know that Spirulina is one of the oldest living foods on the planet with a history going back 3.5 billion years?
Spirulina is classified within a group of foods called micro-algae’s, which were the first photosynthetic life forms designed by Nature.
Because these ‘blue green algae’ were able to produce oxygen and release it into our atmosphere, all other life forms began to evolve.
Besides Spirulina there are other types of single-celled microscopic fresh water algae’s, such as Chlorella and AFA (E3Live- is common commercial name of AFA).
Individually and collectively these algae are some of nature’s most nutrient dense foods each emphasizing unique and distinct properties.
Spirulina for instance, is unrivaled as a protein source. It contains more protein than any other food on the planet and is a substantial 60-65% protein by weight!
I have yet to come across another single food that with just 3-4 Tbsp a day allows you to meet a huge portion of your daily nutritional requirements including getting sufficient enough amounts of protein.
Not only that this tiny aquatic plant offers many essential vitamins and minerals most notably Vitamin A and Iron, as well as phyto-nutrients like the antioxidant beta carotene and the rare but essential fatty acid, GLA.
If you would like to really know the magic of this food, simply get some and put a bit of it on a white piece of paper and look at it. It’s incredible!
The beautifully deep green color comes from a rainbow of natural pigments - chlorophyll (green), phycocyanin (blue) and carotenoids (orange) – the colors are holders of the sun's energy. Spirulina truly is a light food that is easy to digest and its nutrients are absorbed quickly and noticeably.
One other attribute to put this truly in the ranking of one of the Earth’s greatest super foods is that as just one food it could single-handedly solve the world’s food shortage and malnutrition problem.
Within state of Califo
ia alone, we could grow enough Spirulina to feed the entire world!
No other food produces or contains as much nutrition per acre as Spirulina.
I personally find the study of food and nutrition mind-blowing and amazing and I have learned so much brilliant and interesting information from studying directly with some of the top researchers in the field, including Dr. Gabriel Cousens, Peter Ragnar and David Wolfe.
I write these newsletters to share some of the new and incredible insights I receive and as a way to present topics that initiate discussion and get people to expand their perception about food and nutrition.
As the www.superfoodfamily.com website continues to evolve and expand we are looking to create an open forum where topics like the current one can be discussed.
This will be valuable in creating a sense of a community but also because certain topics like Spirulina, where despite the evidence that perhaps most have just not heard, is the center of a bit of debate.
I have talked to people even within and of course outside, the ‘Raw and Living Foods’ culture say that they believe Spirulina to be nothing more than pond scum.
In response, one of the main reasons I dispute this, apart from my own personal results and experience, is from yet another insights I received from David Wolfe.
In his new program, there is a CD exclusively dedicated to our favourite subject, Super Foods. And as he is speaking about and describing the benefits and qualities of some of the top super foods he gets to Spirulina and begins describing how Spirulina has been one of THE main staples of the Mexican people for thousands of years.
In fact, years before the Spaniards arrived to Mexico when Mexico City was one of the largest cities in the world, its people had not even had the discovery of the wheel yet!
So how do you think they fed a city that large in size and population?
Without the wheel they certainly couldn’t cart around large loads of meat because it would spoil on the way from the farm to the inner city.
The answer I’m sure you’ve already guessed is that indeed Spirulina was their main protein source and one of the staple foods feeding that entire civilization!
Do you think that with the current experience of thousands of people around the planet and a very long running history and time-proven track record that Spirulina could truly be one of the top foods to begin including in your diet?
Here are just some of the health properties of Spirulina:nnü Concentrated Amounts of High Quality Proteinnü Array of Minerals, including Ironnü Spectrum of Vitamins, Antioxidants and Phyto-nutrientsnü Rare yet vital Fats including GLA, Sulfolipids and Glycolipids
Other benefits include:nnØ Ecologically sustainable food source producing more nutrition per acre than any other foodnØ Ideal ‘Fast Food’ doesn’t even need to be chewed to be assimilated nØ Could easily grow large amounts of this amazing food to feed the entire world
Are you ready now to try this amazing food?
Perhaps the only thing left is to know what to do with it and how to eat it.
That’s why I have included three recipes found below, plus by going to our website www.superfoodfamily.com you can also have access through the “media” page you will find my partner Laura giving a video demonstration of what we call “peace of mind cookies”.
This recipe is highlighted in our new book “The Little Book of Sweet and Creamy Foods” which was created to help in an easy transition to healthier eating and upgrading your current cuisine with the addition of super foods.
These cookies are delicious and more nutritious than the average persons meal.
