Firstly, when it comes to staying positive when you are experiencing challenging times and situations in your life, there are a couple of key considerations to keep in mind which may help give you some perspective on things. 1: What is there to be learnt from your situation? Try to see what lessons your situation can teach you...very often if bad things are happening in your life it is very likely you created it to learn important lessons...so try to see the bigger picture here...even though it may feel painful, if you see everything as opportunity to learn it can have a powerful effect on your mindset. 2: Everything will surely come to pass Remember, that everything will surely come to pass...which means nothing is ever constant ... you are always in a constant state of change and evolution and the rhythm in your life will always swing back and forth. So, if something bad is in your life, the natural rhythm of life denotes that there is something good on the other side...the key is for you to allow it to happen. 3: Be grateful for the good things in your life This sounds too simple - but it works!....just be grateful for all the good things in your life past and present and focus on them....you should feel a shift in your heart very quickly. The reason this works is because although it may not make negative situations go away immediately the way you view your situation will change. Often we get completely blinded by our own emotions and can make things seem worse than they really are, but using the ability to stand back from problems, we often realize that they are not so bad, or we might even find solutions to them very quickly. This is powerful advice but sometimes it just takes a mixture of patience and belief to stay on course - but you can do it if you really try.

After all, Juliet would have plunged a premature dagger into the heart of her romance with Romeo if she hid in her room rather than go out on her balcony. The end of Sleepless in Seattle shifts from "awww" to "aw, no" if one of the two main characters skips the trip to the Empire State Building. As these examples from fiction show, making yourself
