How do you verbally express or demonstrate by your actions how you feel about yourself? Is your speech peppered with negative talk, self doubt and your behaviors sabotaging? If so, you will remain stuck and in a constant state of “overwhelm”, confusion, stress.

When you use words like “can’t, “have to”, and “should”, you are essentially giving away your power to someone else. You are not taking responsibility for what you want and feel.

It may be that you have chosen to take on certain tasks and responsibilities because subconsciously you are looking for approval, acceptance or recognition. Ask yourself, what is the worst thing that can happen if I don’t do this? Can you tolerate not doing it?

If your words express lack, you cannot attract abundance (i.e., complaining about a lack of finances). Instead, pay attention to how you talk about your finances. While it may be true that you are financially challenged at the moment, it is also true that you are ready to receive financial abundance? Can you see the difference? Which one of these statements is more empowering and focused on what you desire?

Our words are powerful and crucial. Remember this quote, “as a man thinketh, so he is”. Your thoughts are the underpinning of every action, reaction and decision you undertake. You are the inventor of the life you want to live and you subconsciously impair yourself because of the unconscious thoughts you allow to take charge of your life.

Be careful of what you allow into your mindset, it determines whether or not you are successful,
