Stress happens because you listen to what you think. Here’s a simple formula for stress relief and relaxation. Don’t listen to what you think. My guess is you’ve been listening to what you think all the time and it’s driving you nuts and causing you stress. Right now it has you scared, anxious and confused about money, the economy, finances, the future and, did I mention money? But it’s always one thing or another because what you think is all about negativity. What you think likes to look for what’s wrong. No matter what you do it’s never satisfied. Here are some examples. You did good, but you should have done better. That’s good but it’s not as good as so and so. That’s fine but you’ll never do as good as your dad. What you think has your regretting. It has you judging. It has you doubting. What you think does not tell you the truth. What you think tells you that you can’t do it. You can’t have it. You can’t be it. It lies to you, makes you nuts and keeps you in stress. If that’s not enough, what you think constantly tells you to beat yourself up. Anything that happens is a reason to beat yourself up. You lost your watch. Beat yourself up. You can’t find your keys, beat yourself up. You got a stain on your shirt, beat yourself up. And, on and on all day long, all lifetime long. Your thinking is telling you to beat yourself up all the time about everything. It’s telling you to beat yourself up when you’re asleep at night and during your day. That’s your thinking. It tells you to ask it a question. When you do, it tells you it doesn’t know but that you should beat yourself up for not having an answer. What should you do about it? Simple. Don’t listen to what you think. Maybe you didn’t know you had a choice. Now you know. Don’t listen to what you think. It causes you stress and never lets you relax. Don’t listen to you what you think. Check it out. If you really do it, if you really stop listening to it, you won’t be bothered by your thinking again. Your stress and anxiety will disappear and you’ll be able to relax at last. Not only that, your conce s about money, the economy, the future and whatever else will disappear. Find out for yourself. Don’t listen to what you think---do it for a week--- and see what happens. The Release Technique, www.releasetechnique.com shows you what your thinking is doing to you. Think about an Attachment and we may experience a nice warm-fuzzy feeling. We are of course attached to our family, our homes, our relationships, money, our beautiful stuff, and so forth. Think about an Aversion and what happens – instantly we are facing some resistance. If you are paying attention you’ll instantly notice a clutch indicating that there is something needing our attention. Larry Crane and the staff refer to “the clutch” as a pocket of negativity, ringing like a doorbell to get our attention.

Pretty certain, most folks would love to feel good at all times, although many may think it’s not possible to always feel good. Ok, what’s right about feeling good? Feeling good encompasses many things… Perhaps it is working on an incredible project – getting involved – being inspired. Maybe it is a sound, like the evening rain gently caressing the window while you are sleeping. Maybe feeling good is being at your ideal weight or having a certain amount of money. And maybe, feeling good is the way life is meant to be at all times.

Although uncontrolled anger can be quite costly, when channeled properly anger can also be very positive. Among other things, anger can motivate us to work harder to accomplish our goals. This could mean playing harder on the defensive end in a basketball game, studying longer for an exam, or putting in more time when learning to play an instrument. Anger can sometimes lead to newer, higher level goals, possibly fueled by the desire to prove others wrong.
