THANKSGIVING
We begin the holiday season with Thanksgiving, filling ourselves with wonderful food; time with family and friends and for some, football or shopping makes the top of the list. This marks the beginning of a beautiful time of year. We are fortunate to have so many blessings and be here on this earth right now.
This year take a moment and check into the blessings you have in your life. This will require slowing down a bit as we tend to get so busy we cannot see what we have in our life.
If you are spending time with family and friends; stop, be still and feel the love and appreciation you have for the people around you.
If you are benefiting from someone’s labor in the kitchen to prepare a Thanksgiving feast, take a moment and appreciate the time, money, labor and love it took to bring it all together. Feel the feeling associated with that appreciation.
If you are the one preparing the feast, you must have some special people in your life that mean enough to you to prepare the meal. Take a moment and appreciate them. Feel the feeling associated with the love you must have for them. Also except the appreciation sent to you from the ones who enjoyed the fruits of your labor.
The key this year is to take the time and feel the feelings associated with the appreciation you have. Let that feeling come through in your words so the words you speak carry with them a feeling of gratitude. Often our words are empty shells no matter what our meaning. Let the intent of your words equal the impact you hope to deliver. Simply take a moment to be still and silent and appreciate.
While you are at it, take time to appreciate yourself. If you had not made the trip, done your part in the relationship, prepared the food, and so many other things you did to be where you are right now, you would not be able to have this Thanksgiving. Spend some time looking inside yourself, reflecting on your heart, not what you see in the mirror each morning, just your heart. Feel love for yourself and be still in appreciation for you.
Even if this year’s Holiday season seems to bring dread, sadness, anger, loneliness; be still and appreciate you for being here right now. The feelings you feel are proof that you are alive, and by being alive you can make a difference in your life. By being here now you are giving yourself a chance to make a better today and tomorrow. By being here now, you have made it through whatever it is that is making this holiday so tough. You now have a chance to make choices to move forward and grow.
Find appreciation in all things, be still and feel. It is a powerful resource that will move you to new levels in this jou
ey we call life. One of the things that the Law of Attraction states is that what we focus on is what we draw to us. How incredible would it be to draw more reasons to be grateful into our life?
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and if you are traveling, be safe. Remember when giving thanks, feel the appreciation first and then LET YOUR INTENT EQUAL YOUR IMPACT.
