The Loving Process© and The Success Of Healingnn*From Be BAD! Do Good! How To Get What You Want In Spite Of Yourself!nnn After a lifetime of breakthrough seminar work, I thought that somehow all that wisdom was going to protect me from life's hardships. After all, I had experienced hundreds of transformational breakthroughs, they must have counted for something, right? Yes, they did, but not what I expected them to count for. Because when I hit the wall of a divorce with children, there I was, as vulnerable and grieving as ever. Turns out, there is nothing that will protect you from your reactions to traumatic times. We're all still human, no matter how many courses for enlightenment we take! What the value of all the work I had done turned out to be, was a reduction of the amount of time I spent in shock. This was important, because I couldn't do anything for myself, or anyone else for that matter, until I had at least begun the healing process. Since time is all we have, the less we spend it on feeling traumatized, and the more we spend it on being healed, the better off we are. Emotional trauma is like a sports injury. If you act as if you are injured, it always seems like it takes forever to heal. But, if you act as if you are well, then the healing process takes less time. Same event, dramatically reduced time. Spending more of our time well, and less time traumatized, uses up less of our energy. A critical point in the span of a lifetime measured in time and energy.
The turning point in my healing process came when I began to practice an old wisdom; 'What you give out returns to you.' Since I didn't feel as if at that moment I had much to offer, I asked Infinite Intelligence to provide me with something to give out. What came to me was a series of books and a seminar whose methods I've been both practicing and giving out for the last few years. It is in the giving out that I gain strength. Giving also reinforces the wisdom that was gifted to me. I need that reinforcement. Without being in service, just like that breakthrough seminar work, all the wisdom in the world doesn't help. Not without practice. My practice happens to be dissemination. I feel good inside when others benefit from my work. What goes around, comes around.
Amidst my many gifts, one of the primary methods that I discovered for healing and moving forward, was, and is, The Loving Process, outlined in my book Be BAD! Do Good! How To Get What You Want In Spite Of Yourself! Once I began to listen to the wisdom that was given to me and then practice it myself, every single one of the subtle forces that determined the outcome of events in my life started to align in the directio
I wanted things to go in. I began to heal on deeper and deeper levels. People who were influential in making my career happen started to show up. Monies came in, old relationships healed, new relationships began, and 'all of a sudden' all those small successes I had always dreamed of started to happen. Small successes that were rapidly adding up to larger ones. Successes that I could feel good about, without having to 'fake it' until I 'made it.' I wanted none of the 'faking it' at all. Without having to do anything but tell the absolute truth, I wanted to practice something real, powerful, and effective for producing permanent change. I had asked, and so it was given to me. It was The Loving Process.
What I discovered was that unless you live out what you want to give out, then all the information in the world is useless. This is especially poignant for the success of any healing process. And the one person who we have to love first, before we can love anyone else? It's still us, and love is still the answer. Some things never change, despite all the changes of our lives. With such a powerful healing practice I have come to realize that loving yourself first before you achieve success insures the stability of that success. Loving yourself before you can give that love away is as important as it always was, and The Loving Process allows you to experience this truth in the most important way possible; through the deliberate practice of it. And the best thing of all? What I discovered was that all you have to be is yourself to successfully do that.
