This man doesn’t make the headlines. He won’t steal your money or kill you and dump your body on the side of the road. But he can steal your heart, rob you of your time and kill you slowly from the inside out like radiation that eats at your heart and soul.

Does Your Man Act Like This?

1.Is your man detached, and sometimes cold and distant?
2.Does he seem to come close then pull back again and again?
3.Do you believe it could be wonderful if you could just get past his wall?
4.Do you sometimes feel alone when you’re with him?
5.Does it feel like sometimes he’s not really there?
You know there’s something gentle about your man. Deep down you know he cares. But then again, sometimes you wonder and you have your doubts about him. Maybe he doesn’t care…maybe he does. It changes from day to day. Life feels like you’re on an emotional roller coaster and he’s slowly driving you crazy.

How long has this been going on? Months? Years?
Have you searched for answers in self help books and books about relationships? Have you tried the tricks to make him love you, and failed at rousing his interest over and over again? Do you sometimes wonder if there’s something wrong with you, when you’ve given all that you have?
There's a Chance Your Man Could Have Schizoid Personality Disorder.
Schizoid Personality Disorder has nothing to do with Schizophrenia even though the two disorders share the first four letters.

If your man has Schizoid Personality Disorder he’s cold and detached and has shallow emotions. He doesn’t really want, enjoy or need close relationships. Actually, if you can face the truth, you know he’d rather be alone.

He can be dull, he doesn’t have much fun, and chances are these days you’re not having much fun either.

Because of this, he has few friends.
That’s fine with him. He’s oblivious to what people think and that includes you.

What You Can Do

1.Make a list of your emotional needs and ask yourself if this man is meeting them.
2.Ask yourself how much more time you’re willing to give this relationship.
3.Be honest. Do you think your love will change him?

When It’s Time to Leave

The hardest and saddest relationships are those in which a woman gets romantically involved with a man who has Schizoid Personality Disorder or any man who’s detached and not willing to make a commitment. It can often feel the same.

The relationship can go on for months and years, with the healthy partner holding out hope. But an uninvolved man or a man with Schizoid Personality Disorder remains disengaged and can’t meet anyone’s emotional needs.

This detached man is lethal to you in his own quiet way. He smothers your dreams. He breaks your spirit. He’s the one who kills you slowly.

Overcoming Codependency Balanced, healthy relationships are reciprocal—each person cares for the other, and each person also cares for their own self. Though each may depend on the other for things like love, companionship, and practical help they also provide these things to the other person. No relationship is perfectly balanced.
