The New Way of Channeling: Owning Your Inner Wisdom

In the new energies we need to make changes in the way we approach channeling. It is no longer appropriate to give our power away to anything, and that includes spirit. It is time to own our own wisdom and evaluate every piece of information on the value it contains, regardless of the source it comes from.

I have been teaching channeling courses with great joy for more than two years, but recently I have felt a growing need to adapt my approach to the new time and energies we live in. Why? Because it is no longer appropriate to give our power away to anything outside of ourselves. And that includes spirit, our guides, angels, arch angels and ascended masters. It is time to own our inner wisdom and evaluate every piece of information on the value it contains for our own personal life, regardless of where the information comes from.

Channeling is a beautiful way to connect with spirit. To let the wisdom from Home flow through us; a wisdom that goes beyond human thinking and emotional attachments. The problem is that we as humans tend to give more value to information that comes from outside of ourselves than to our own personal insights. The information that comes from our guides, from the angels and ascended masters is considered more important than the wisdom that we have gathered ourselves. And yet these angels and ascended masters tell us time and time again that WE are the masters. We are playing this game of pretending to be human and we are expanding the universe by our very own experiences and choices.

I think it is time to change the focus of channeling to find a new, empowered balance. It is wonderful to channel spirits, angels and ascended masters and bring through their wisdom. Yet there needs to come a new balance where we value our own wisdom and the energy and wisdom of our own higher self as much as we value the wisdom from other spirits. Peggy Phoenix Dubro has expressed it beautifully: “We are all channels, learning to channel more of who we are”.

So what I am doing now in my work as a teacher is focusing on the connection between the human and the higher self: the higher self being the part of us that does not live in the body which enables us to see the bigger picture. I am helping people to grow the connection with their higher self and bring through their own wisdom, their own insights and to add their very own beautiful flavour to universal wisdom. That is the new way of channeling for me. It values human experiences, insights and gained wisdom as much as the wisdom from the angels and spirits at Home. It acknowledges that we all have our own flavour of beautiful wisdom and truth. And it acknowledges that we are powerful, wise and inspirational beings.

I look forward to seeing this path evolve.
