What a wonderful day to discuss the topic of delegation and what it means to your success on your chosen pathway toward greater health, fitness and well-being as you take the steps to better your way of life and create a lifestyle that supports your goals. Having the wherewithal to hand over chores, farm out the errands and pass on some responsibilities from your life seems like a daunting task at times and just as easy to “just do it yourself.” Think again.

Fear not, assigning others with your assumed burdens doesn’t have to be stressful, time consuming or bewildering whatsoever. We are not bionic women who can carry the weight of the world on our shoulders, nor do we have to live up to any such standard. You are thoroughly entitled to meander throughout your life being happy, successful and fulfilled with the days you lead and it is up to you to take 100% responsibility for just that. It is your job to create the life you want to be living; no one is going to knock at your door with a silver platter. Getting assistance in various areas of your world will enable you to spend more time doing what you love, creating your passion and living your life in a way that you have dreamed of. Let us take a look at some of the ways you can simply begin to entrust others to do the jobs that get in the way of you living the life you want.

~Hire a house cleaner: working Monday-Friday is taxing, why not engage the services of a cleaning lady to do the things you detest. Even if it is just once a month it will free up your time to concentrate on you and your desires when you do find a moment to spare.

~Assign family chores: there is an “i” in family, however, that does not mean you must tackle the entire home alone. Make a list of jobs and ask everyone to choose their favorite three to accomplish. This can be an ongoing assignment or you can rotate jobs throughout the family unit. Be sure to post the responsibilities as to not forget who’s doing what.

~Downsize your obligations: look for ways to scale back your duties and free up your time.

Be specific and follow through with your plan; it’s all about taking action and supporting yourself.
