The Real Reason Why Men Won't Commit

The reason why men won't commit actually stems from biological reasons rather than those social reasons so popular today.
It basically stems from human sexuality and how it functions. Simply put, the male has the ability to produce multiple children with different women. The younger the guy the truer this statement holds. It's instinctive to ensure the survival of the species.
Having many partners mean that they will distribute their strong genes to various offspring. Women obviously cannot do this and are therefore more selective with their partners. This is actually what motivates men today although most people are not aware of it.

The interesting thing is that this changes when men get older. The reason behind why men won't commit slowly vanishes as they age. It usually varies from one man to another, but their sperm count would significantly decrease by the age of 30.

Also at that age, the sperm itself loses some of its effectiveness. It's also interesting that around this time, many men want to settle down. As the men have a decreased sex drive during their thirties, women's sex drive increase as they approach menopause. It's like their last ditch effort and as men become more selective, the chances of producing excellent offspring genetically increases.

Of course, there are also other considerations. One of the reasons why men won't commit can be due to their character. Some men managed to control their instincts more than others. In fact, my own dad says that marriage is important and having physical relationships with different women is important.

There are men who talk and brag about the women they have had relationships with. Ego takes over more easily in men and it can show itself in this regard. Of course, let's not forget the inclusion of love as a factor. Every person has a different perception of what love really is. Sometimes, men will only realize how important it is when they meet the right woman.

Then the reason used why men won't commit starts to disappear. Finding that special woman automatically makes a man want to be a better person. They start to want this more than being with other women. This makes sense considering how hard life is nowadays and the need for smarter and more capable individuals become apparent. If we concentrate on developing ourselves into better people, the whole world would develop as well.
