Cost of Education and Living
The cost of education in Poland is relatively low than in many other European countries. For an international student studying in public universities, the annual cost can vary between 2,000 and 3,000 Euros. Scholarships
Many Poland universities offer scholarships to meritorious students pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degree. The scholarships are funded by either Polish or foreign partner’s government.
Internships and Work Permit
International students can support themselves financially by working part-time in parallel with the degree program. A maximum of 20hrs of work is permitted during studies and 3 months for full-time during holidays.
Upon completion of graduation, non-EU international students with temporary residence permit can stay back and work if a work permit is approved. Such graduates can work post-study for as long as their work permit is valid.
Accommodation
Many universities have the facilities of dormitories at a cheaper rate. Besides, international students can stay in an apartment or can share rooms with 2-3 students. In the capital city, Warsaw, the rent for a single room apartment starts from 300 Euros.
