TPLINK ACCESS POINT BEING THE SOURCE OF RELIEF IN MY MEDICAL CONSULTANT CARREER

Being a medical consultant means I need to keep myself updated with every disease and its symptoms. It’s not practical to keep on buying books and going through them page by page for being updated with the medical world. Thus the internet is my go-to helping hand in such cases. The Wi-Fi in my home was not at its best and I did not want to invest in an Extender. That’s when my friend suggested me the tplink access point and without any second thought, I went on and ordered the same from Amazon. I got the tplink EAP 245 V3 at an extremely affordable price and my Wi-Fi connection has improved a great deal since then. Apart from just being a standalone AP, the tplink EAP 245 V3 access point also works as part of an Omada mesh system. It comes with lots of features, including Wi-Fi captive portals and it supports both active and password PoE standards. Also, it is very easy to set up. It has got a wavy appearance at its top and on the underside, it has got two network ports, a regular one and the other one is PoE enabled. It supports both active and passive PoE and comes along with an injector. The tplink access point features a 3×3 Wi-Fi 5 with up to 1300Mbps on the 5GHz band and nearly up to 450Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. The performance is beyond excellence and the 5GHz band; at a near range of 10 feet, it gives an average of 855 megabits per second. It does quite well on the 2.4GHz as well.

CONFIGURING AND PERFORMANCE OF THE TPLINK ACCESS POINT

The tplink EAP 245 V3 is surely a versatile access point. If you want you can either use it connected to one single device or you can also use it like a pack of few units in the form of a mesh system. Firstly I had to set up the access point which is like any other PoE access point. The tplink access point setup was easy and did not require too much hard work. After setting it up, I got my access point configured after logging in to the http://tplinkap.net login page. Once you have successfully set up your tplink access point, you need to enter the by default use ame and password in the tplink.net admin page. You can also type in the IP address in the web browser. After finishing off with the configuration and settings of the tplink EAP 245 V3 access point, I started using it. It is completely reliable and the network coverage that the access point provides is excellent. I had been using it for six months now, and there had been no disconnection till now. It surely works much better than most other home mesh system. The Configuration process of the access point is unusually simple if you are using the web interface and once you are done with the configuration process, its performance is also appreciable. Transferring a file from a 400Mbps wireless device to my laptop was done at a speed of 15MB/s (Megabytes), which is very good. It effectively maximizes the 100Mbps LAN connection it comes with. Some of the additional features it comes with are its support for multiple AP modes such as AP, Client, Multi-SSID, and WDS Bridge. Presently I am using it in the Multi-SSID mode by connecting it to a trunk port on the wired end and it shows no trouble.

TROUBLESHOOTING LOGGING PROBLEM IN TPLINK ACCESS POINT

There could be times when you are not able to login to the tplinkap.net page and your tplinkap.net login failed. After checking your Ethe et connection, try logging in to the Web Interface of tplink access point using its default domain name or default IP Address (both of which are available in the installation guide). Check that the domain name you have typed in is the same as the one given in the installation guidebook. If you have typed in the IP address, make sure that it is in the address bar and not in the search bar.
