Vitamins For Weight Loss
Written by Sandra Kim Leong
A factor that you need to consider when trying to control your weight is your own individual metabolic rate. Other than regular exercise, a vitamin can also help you to increase your metabolism so that you reduce your appetite and increase the number of calories burned. Some over the counter medications for weight loss pose health effects like sleeplessness, nervousness, and an increased heart rate. Additionally, these pills sometimes lost their effectiveness after a while. Some are said to cause damage to the heart, although this is not factual.
Being overweight has plenty of health implications such as raising blood pressure and increasing our risk to diabetes. Everyone hopes for a miracle pill could help them to decrease their weight, decrease appetite, and increase energy, and in fact, there are many different solutions that you can choose from on your drugstore shelves. The weight control pills that are most commonly marketed for weight loss include Hoodia, Carb blockers, and more.
However, if you do not wish to take any of these, you can also ensure that your meals include the right vitamins that help in weight management. Your body works more efficiently when you get all of the nutrients that you need. In particular, Vitamin B and Vitamin C play very important roles in the working of your body and help to control weight.

The B3 Vitamin, Niacin, is the thyroid regulating vitamin. It is also helpful in tolerating glucose. Niacin is helpful in cases when your blood sugar level increases. Some natural foods that include this vitamin include brown rice, chicken, eggs, meat, tuna, dried fruit, turkey, and some kinds of fish. Other good natural sources of this vitamin include oat and wheat flakes.

Some natural sources for Vitamin B5 are eggs, green vegetables, barley, wheat germ, wheat flakes, molasses, wheat flakes, beans, and oats.
